Samsung unleashed a bunch of new products at the Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event. Some of these products are the Galaxy Buds Pro, the S Pen and the S Pen Pro, and the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. The Samsung Galaxy S21, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, and the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus are top of the line 5G phones that have been launched in a few countries including India, the USA, and China.
Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S21 series is available in Phantom Grey, Phantom Violet, Phantom White, and Phantom Pink, depending on the model. The lightest phone of the series is the Samsung Galaxy S21 at 171 grams while the other phones weigh more than 200 grams.
The S21 has a 6.2 inch/18.54 cm flat FHD plus, 120Hz display while the Galaxy S21+ 5G and the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G have a 6.7 inch and 6.8-inch display. All three phones have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus that protects the screen from any damage. The phones are also IP68 certified.
The phones are powered by Samsung’s new Exynos 2100 processor or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888. The processor is different based on the region the phone is being sold in. In the USA, the phones will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888. They run on Android 11. The Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and the S21 Ultra come with a 4000, 4800, and 5000 mAh battery that supports fast charging, as well as wireless charging.
Talking about the camera setup, the S21 and S21 Plus features a triple camera set up of a 12MP Ultra-wide camera, 12 Wide angle camera, and 64MP Telephoto Camera with 30X Space Zoom. The S21 Ultra, on the other hand, features a quad-camera setup of a 12MP Ultra Wide camera, 108 MP Wide angle camera, and two 10MP Telephoto cameras with 100X Space Zoom. But, the 10 MP selfie camera of the S21 and the S21 Plus fails to compete with the 40MP selfie camera of the S21 Ultra.
The S21 and S21 Plus do not support S Pen, while the S21 Ultra does support the S Pen and S Pen Pro.
Price
The Samsung Galaxy S21 starts from Rs. 69,999. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra start from Rs. 81,999, and Rs. 1,05,999 respectively.
The phones can be pre-ordered currently. They will be up for regular sale from 29th January.
Samsung has put its best foot forward! These new 5G phones certainly seem impressive.
