MegaBox is the best place to watch videos, TV shows, Channels, Movies and Sports within a single Android App. It is quite popular and provides multiple channels in varied languages. The App is easy to use and is growing in popularity with each passing day given its vast content and smooth UI.
But with growing user base MegaBox HD App is facing some issues which are making its users Red. - For video playback problem in you can try to uninstall Google Plus updates or Twitter.
Go to Settings>Apps/Application manager>Google Plus app>Uninstall Updates.
- For Android Lollipop and above users, you can try this potential method, Go to Setting>About phone, tap 7 times on Build version to unlock developers option in setting.
Scroll down in developers option until you see entry under media called Use AwesomePlayer (deprecated) and enable it. If it previously enabled disable it, reboot your device to check for the fix.

Solution 2. MegaBox HD ‘No Connection Retry’ Error
MegaBox HD requires a very good internet connectivity. If you have good connectivity and facing any problem in loading the content in MegaBox follow the steps below.
- Uninstall MegaBox and download MTF installer.
- Now search MTF installer for MegaBox and install it.
Also do not restrict any background data for the App.
Solution 3. MegaBox Error ‘No Stream Available’
To fix the problem you can either download the latest version of MegaBox HD. If this doesn’t fix the issue then use any VPN service like Opera VPN to stream country-restricted content.
Solution 4. MegaBox HD ‘Not Working’
Clear App Data and Cache
- Open setting of your Android device.
- Look for the option called Apps or Manage apps and tap on it.
- Check the MegaBox HD App.

This happens when App is not given all permissions to interact with your device Storage and USB.
- Go to Settings of your Android device.

- Tap on menu icon.
- Click on ‘Reset App Preferences’.
Solution 6. Unable to Connect/Fix MegaBox HD
- Go to Settings.
- Here Look for menu named Apps or All Apps or Manage Apps.
- Look for Smule Sing App.
- Now under permissions Grant Megabox App All the Permissions.
- Reboot the device and check for the fix.
Solution 7. Miscellaneous Errors and Problems/MegaBox HD
If you are facing problems while using Google Products like Google Play Store, Hangouts, Spaces, Google Plus etc or 3rd-party services like Tinder Quora or MegaBox HD which require Google Services for normal working then the following process could fix the problem.
- Go to Settings > Select Security > Device administrators > Deactivate Android Device Manager.
- Go to Settings > Apps> All> Google Play services > tap Uninstall updates
- Play Services is automatically updated if any app requires updated version
- Now again go to Settings > Select Security > Device administrators >Activate Android Device Manager
- Reboot your device.
Once the issue is resolved you can use the MegaBox HD app without any concern.

Hi I’ve just cleared the cache and its still not working. It will play 5 mins of film then it starts again. I’ve tried 5 different films tonight and its doing the same thing with each of them. What do I need to do, used to love this app now feel disheartened every time I switch it on.

When I open Megabox hd a app named FOFY open instead. How do I get rid of it?

When I watch a movie or tv show, all of a sudden, it will go into slo-mo and lose audio for about 5 seconds every 5-10 minutes. What would cause that? I seem to have a good signal on my wifi, and other programs on my fire cube does not seem to have the issue.

When I pull up movie, titles appear but not the pictures. When you open a movie it does not load. The same with TV shows except there are pics along with the titles.
